SHIPPING


What countries do you ship to?
All. Enter you address at checkout to determine the shipping cost. Keep in mind that some countries may require you to pay duties.

How will my order be delivered?
By stork, 'cause these shoes will be your new baby...

Seriously, how will my order be delivered?
We ship via Canada Post. As you are checking out, shipping costs are provided based on your delivery address.
Please be reminded that the courier delivers during business hours, Monday to Friday. As the courier will require a signature, we recommend you choose a shipping address where you or someone you trust is available during the day.

How much will I pay for shipping?
This is based on your delivery address. Unfortunately shipping is expensive, c'est la vie.

What if no one is available when the delivery arrives?
We recommend shipping to an address you are typically at during the day, otherwise a notification slip will tell you where to pick up your parcel.

What packaging will my order be delivered in?
All Hoyden footwear comes in a shoe box that is placed inside a 100% recycled shipping bag. The environment is important to us and we are consistently working on making our methods more eco-friendly. If you have any recommendations please email us at: info@hoydenshoes.com

Why don't you include a packing slip?
We will email you a shipping notification with your order details instead. Let's take steps to reduce waste together.


PAYMENT METHODS & RETURNS

What payment methods do you accept?
All the usual stuff provided by Shopify. Look at the bottom of the footer for pictures.

What is your refund policy?
Wait? But why would want to return them!?... See a link to the refund policy on the checkout footer or order review page.

Under what conditions do you accept a return?
The items must be returned in the same condition in which they were delivered. Please make sure that they are intact and complete, never worn, used or damaged in any way and that they are returned in their original packaging. Please use the resealable bag they were delivered in.

How long will it take to receive a refund?
Once the package is received, we will verify the condition of the items before accepting your return and processing the refund. The refund will be issued directly to the original payment method used within 14 days from receipt of the returned items. We will send you a confirmation email as soon as we have authorized the refund. The duration in which the refund amount will appear in your account is subject to the conditions of the payment method used.


SHOE CARE

What's inside the box?
All hoyden shoes come with cardboard supports. We recommend holding on to these (unless you have a shoe-tree already) to keep inside your shoes when you're not wearing them. This will help maintain the shape of the shoe and prevent creases from forming on the upper.

How should I put on my shoes?
Use a shoe horn, you savage! Don't wiggle your foot around until it goes in, that's a sure way to ruin the structure of your shoe. It is also recommended that you loosen the laces or undo at least the first strap on the double monk before putting the shoe on. If you take care of your girl, she’ll take care of you!

What if the item I want is sold out?
Please use our contact form or email info@hoydenshoes.com with your request and we'll let you know if that style is being restocked. Watch out, some styles are limited edition. You snooze, you loose.

Why should I create an account?
If you do, you can sign up to the newsletter and be among the first to hear about any new styles, blah blah blah. Could be fun. You know the drill.
